WHY?

Why do we have to explain to our very young kids and grandkids what exactly an erection that lasts more than 4 hours is all about?

Why do we have to see and hear ads about male enhancement?

Why is it necessary to advertise K-Y Warming Yours+Mine sex aids on television?

Why isn't there a Family Hour on TV anymore? (I know, I know, it was declared unconstitutional, but couldn't common sense prevail?)

I mainly watch Fox News, CNN, and the Food Network and I see all these ads. I hear these ads and more when I listen to my favorite Alternative Music radio station.

Our kids know all about various kinds of sex and sex acts. They are bombarded by adult content on TV, on the radio, on their computers, their PDAs, and their cell phones. Is it any wonder they are having babies out of wedlock and STDs at a greater rate than any other time in history?

Part of our society says it's because we don't teach them enough about sex. The other part of our society, of which I'm a member, says, sex is all they hear about. They know more about it than they do reading, writing, and arithmetic.

I don't like the liberalization of our culture. It's made us a much coarser society.
