A couple of nights ago, Karen and I weren't sure what we wanted to fix for dinner.
We had been excited to try some sausages we purchased at the new Sunflower Health Food Store in Orem. They are "homemade" and the ones we purchased were Chicken with Green Chili Sausages.
We also had some leftover mashed potatoes from a previous dinner. So, we made potato cakes, fried an egg, and cooked up the sausages. What an awesome dinner! The sausages were great. They kind of split open on the ends, but it didn't change the taste any.
We're excited to try the Chicken Hot Italian Sausages that we have in our fridge. We'll use them in a Spaghetti and Sausage dinner in the next day or so. Naturally, I had to put a little hot sauce all over my dinner.
Love those sausages...although Karen thought they looked a little small.
Because of the economy, I decided to travel a little less this year. As a Region Manager, my expenses can really get out of hand if I don't watch them carefully. I'm the guy that when I come to town, I'm "supposed" to take everyone out to big dinners and, of course, good lunches, too. I've mentioned before that my Region is from Chicago to Hawaii, Alaska to Mexico. Airfare alone can be horrible.
So, as I said, I decided to save the company some money this year and travel a bit less. I can do a lot of what I need to do from my home office.
I looked at my calendar yesterday and was quite surprised. I just got back from a week in Dallas, TX. I'm home this week. Next week I'm in Hawaii.
The week after that, I'm home (but the week will begin with some of our Utah family driving to Las Vegas - the minute I get off the plane from Hawaii - for Rebekah's blessing).
The following week, April 4th, I work in Los Angeles, CA.
The week after that, I work in Cincinnati, OH.
The week after that, I work in St. Louis, MO. - watch for me Christy!!
The week after that, I'm back in Dallas, TX.
The week after that, I work at home.
That's what my calendar looks like today. Who knows what might come up tomorrow that will require me to add to my travels.
It looks like I'll make Delta Gold Medallion again this year.
