A NEW WEEK

I love Monday mornings. It's like having a New Years Day every week. I can start fresh, with new goals and resolutions. Most of the last week's work has been completed and that which has carried over is almost finished.

This week I work in my office on
Monday. Fly to Phoenix on Tuesday and do a little work in the Phoenix area. Wednesday I will audit some Lowe's stores, to ensure that our displays are perfect. I will communicate my findings with the District Manager and he will see that the things that need working on are done. Thursday I'll fly back home and do some more office work and some church stuff that needs to get done. Friday is kind of a finish up day, as well as our grocery shopping day. Then it's the weekend and I get ready to do it all over the next week.

Let me philosophize for just a minute on my work week: Since I fly a bit, I sometimes compare my work week to a flight.

Monday is like a taxiing day.
I'm just heading down the runway and picking up speed.

Tuesday I'm lifting off and heading into the wild blue yonder.

On Wednesday I'm up to speed and at the proper altitude for getting where I need to be.

Thursday I put the flaps down and start slowing down and descending.

Friday I land and taxi.

What a great job I have.
