President Obama has recommended a two-year freeze on federal workers' pay. "The two-year (2011 - 2012) pay freeze will save $2 billion for the remainder of FY 2011, $28 billion over the next five years, and more than $60 billion over the next 10 years," states a White House Fact Sheet on the pay freeze.
Do they really think we're that stupid. What is a freeze? It "freezes" pay at today's rate of pay. How does freezing, without cutting something, save us any money?
This is typical liberal-speak. They think that by not giving people the pay raises they would normally receive, that they're saving us money. Billions of dollars.
Come on!! Who's stupid here? The only way we can save money is to cut spending.
QUIT SPENDING OUR DAMN MONEY!!
